Your mission
Volunteers building the base of our projects, both for our humanitarian deployments and as support for our backoffice functions. To build up our volunteer pool we are always looking for volunteers who are interested in a middle to long-term commitment to CADUS.
Your profile
MEDICS 
  • for our EMERGENCY MEDICAL TEAM:
    • Doctors with additional qualifications in emergency medicine and paediatrics, preferably anaesthetists and internists;
    • Health and (paediatric) nurses, preferably with experience in intensive care medicine;
    • Paramedics.
  • for supporting the classifification as EMT TYPE 1 MOBILE:
    • Developing and reviewing CADUS Standard Operating Procedures to make our individual processes more transparent and efficient;
    • Planning and supporting humanitarian deployments;
    • Organisation of lectures and training;
    • Supervision of e-learning;
    • Helping with warehouse logistics, inventory, and maintenance of our equipment.
CRAFTWO:MEN
  • Craftswo:men of all trades
  • preferably with experience abroad and/or working in very diverse and changing teams for our MOBILE CRISIS RESPONSE MAKERSPACE
  • for supporting the CRISIS RESPONSE MAKERSPACE and INNOVATION HUB in BERLIN
MEDIA PROFESSIONALS
  • as FIELD MEDIA COORDINATION for direct reporting from the deployments and media support of the projects
  • Support in public relations and website design

Ihre Aufgaben
Für unsere Mission in der Ukraine suchen wir fortlaufend nach Fachkräften. Die Ukraine ist ein aktives Kriegsland. Auch wenn unsere Mission nicht in Regionen mit aktiven Kampfhandlungen stattfindet, ist die Situation vor Ort ungewiss und volatil, sodass keine Garantien gegeben werden können. Wir sind auf der Suche nach Einsatzkräften aus folgenden Bereichen:

Medizin

  • Ärzt*innen mit Zusatzbezeichnung Notfallmedizin, bevorzugt Anästhesist*innen, Internist*innen und Pädiater*innen mit intensivmedizinischer Erfahrung
  • Gesundheits- und (Kinder-)Krankenpfleger*innen
  • Anästhesist*innen / Notfallmediziner*innen
  • Notfallsanitäter*innen, Rettungsassistent*innen oder auch erfahrene Rettungssanitäter*innen

Logistik

  • Logistiker*innen
  • Techniker*innen

Medien

  • Foto/Videograf*innen
  • Field Media Coordinator
Eine generelle Berufserfahrung von mindestens zwei Jahren ist erforderlich, Erfahrung in der humanitären Arbeit ist von Vorteil. 
Ihr Profil

Voraussetzungen:

  • Drei Wochen Zeit (2 Wochen Einsatz, eine Woche Vorbereitung in Berlin)
  • Impfstatus: Vollständiges Covid-19 (derzeit drei Impfungen),
  • regelmäßige Impfungen für medizinisches Personal (detaillierte Liste wird während des Einstellungsverfahrens zur Verfügung gestellt)
  • Bei der Einreise noch 6 Monate gültiger Reisepass
  • Erfahrung in der humanitären Arbeit, vorzugsweise in akuten Krisengebieten
  • Für Mediziner: Berufserfahrung in Ihrem Fachgebiet von mindestens zwei Jahren
  • Von Vorteil ist ein bereits abgeschlossenes Hostile Environment Awareness Ausbildung (HEAT)
  • Von Vorteil ist ein Wohnsitz in dem / eine Reise vom europäischen Kontinent
Über uns
CADUS e.V. (CADUS) is a non-profit and independent aid organization based in Berlin. Our work is primarily concerned with providing life-saving support to people in crisis situations. These can range from sudden onset disasters to protracted and complex slow-onset emergencies. We aim to enable the transformation of knowledge and technology. Together with local communities, we want to develop new and innovative projects that are both adapted to local conditions and actively shaped by recipients of humanitarian aid. Through interdisciplinarity, organizations and individuals should gain the opportunity to develop innovative humanitarian solutions via active participation in humanitarian work.
